Shaadi Mubarak’s Rajeshwari Sachdev tests positive for COVID 19 after having mild symptoms. The actress’s husband Varun Badola has also skipped shoot for his show Mere Dad Ki Dulhan until he gets his test results.
Rajeshwari Sachdev, who plays the role of Kusum Kothari in Star Plus”s show Shaadi Mubarak, has tested positive for the novel Coronavirus. A recent Times of India report reveals that the actress had not been shooting for the show for a few days. Two days ago, she experienced mild symptoms and was feeling unwell, after which she got herself tested for COVID-19. Unfortunately, Rajeshwari’s COVID-19 test results came positive on Wednesday (yesterday).
A source informed TOI that Rajeshwari had not been shooting for some days as she did not have scenes to shoot for. The actress then developed mild symptoms like low-grade fever and weakness. She waited for two days, but the got herself tested for the disease on Tuesday. On Wednesday evening her test results came, and she was tested detected with Coronavirus. However, none of Rajeshwari’s family members have been tested for COVID -19 yet.
She is married to Varun Badola, who is currently playing the lead role in Mere Dad Ki Dulhan opposite Shweta Tiwari. The source further informed that Rajeshwari’s husband Varun and her son have not been tested yet. Varun along with his son will undergo COVID-19 tests today (Thursday). However, none of them have any symptoms as of now. But, Varun will also not be going to the sets of his show Mere Dad Ki Dulhan and will skip shooting until his test results come.
When TOI got in touch with the actress, she confirmed the news but did not divulge into details. Shaadi Mubarak stars Rajshree Thakur and Manav Gohil in the lead roles and premiered on August 24. The makers of the show or the channel are yet to give any official statement. Also, Rajeshwari has not released any official statement regarding the same yet.
